59. All teaching diplomas issued under the Regulation respecting teaching licences (chapter I-13.3, r. 2) and valid on 30 September 2019 remain valid.

The teaching licences issued under the Regulation respecting teaching licences and valid on 30 September 2019 are deemed to have been issued under this Regulation and correspond to the teaching licences established under the new Regulation in the following manner:

(1)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 5 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a general education teaching diploma issued under section 6 of this Regulation;

(2)  a teaching authorization issued under section 10.1 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a vocational training teaching diploma issued under section 7 of this Regulation;

(3)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(4)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 3 or 4 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(5)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 3 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(5.1)  a teaching permit issued under section 61 or 62 of the former regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 0.1 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(6)  a teaching permit issued under section 11.1 or 11.2 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(7)  a teaching permit issued under section 11 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(8)  a teaching permit issued under section 4 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit for Cree and Kativik school boards issued under section 19 of this Regulation;

(9)  a provisional teaching authorization issued under section 46 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence issued under section 40 of this Regulation;

(10)  a provisional teaching authorization issued under section 48 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence issued under section 42 of this Regulation;

(11)  a teaching authorization issued under section 9 or 10 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional vocational training teaching licence issued under paragraph 1 of section 43 of this Regulation;

(12)  a provisional teaching authorization for vocational training issued under section 8 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional vocational training teaching licence issued under paragraph 2 of section 43 of this Regulation;

(13)  a provisional teaching authorization in general education issued under section 2.1 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence for the Cree and Kativik school boards issued under section 46 of this Regulation.

A teaching diploma issued under subparagraph 3 of the first paragraph of section 7 of the former regulation enabling teaching in general education at the Kativik School Board also enables teaching at the Cree School Board as if issued under section 8 of this Regulation.

59. All teaching diplomas issued under the Regulation respecting teaching licences (chapter I-13.3, r. 2) and valid on 30 September 2019 remain valid.

The teaching licences issued under the Regulation respecting teaching licences (chapter I-13.3, r. 2) and valid on 30 September 2019 are deemed to have been issued under this Regulation and correspond to the teaching licences established under the new Regulation in the following manner:

(1)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 5 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a general education teaching diploma issued under section 6 of this Regulation;

(2)  a teaching authorization issued under section 10.1 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a vocational training teaching diploma issued under section 7 of this Regulation;

(3)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(4)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 3 or 4 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(5)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 3 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(6)  a teaching permit issued under section 11.1 or 11.2 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(7)  a teaching permit issued under section 11 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(8)  a teaching permit issued under section 4 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit for Cree and Kativik school boards issued under section 19 of this Regulation;

(9)  a provisional teaching authorization issued under section 46 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence issued under section 40 of this Regulation;

(10)  a provisional teaching authorization issued under section 48 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence issued under section 42 of this Regulation;

(11)  a teaching authorization issued under section 9 or 10 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional vocational training teaching licence issued under paragraph 1 of section 43 of this Regulation;

(12)  a provisional teaching authorization for vocational training issued under section 8 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional vocational training teaching licence issued under paragraph 2 of section 43 of this Regulation;

(13)  a provisional teaching authorization in general education issued under section 2.1 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence for the Kativik School Board issued under section 46 of this Regulation.

(1)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 5 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a general education teaching diploma issued under section 6 of this Regulation;

(2)  a teaching authorization issued under section 10.1 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a vocational training teaching diploma issued under section 7 of this Regulation;

(3)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(4)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 3 or 4 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(5)  a teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 3 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit issued under paragraph 3 of section 10 of this Regulation;

(6)  a teaching permit issued under section 11.1 or 11.2 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 1 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(7)  a teaching permit issued under section 11 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary vocational training teaching permit issued under paragraph 2 of section 15 of this Regulation;

(8)  a teaching permit issued under section 4 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a probationary general education teaching permit for Cree and Kativik school boards issued under section 19 of this Regulation;

(9)  a provisional teaching authorization issued under section 46 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence issued under section 40 of this Regulation;

(10)  a provisional teaching authorization issued under section 48 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence issued under section 42 of this Regulation;

(11)  a teaching authorization issued under section 9 or 10 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional vocational training teaching licence issued under paragraph 1 of section 43 of this Regulation;

(12)  a provisional teaching authorization for vocational training issued under section 8 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional vocational training teaching licence issued under paragraph 2 of section 43 of this Regulation;

(13)  a provisional teaching authorization in general education issued under section 2.1 of the former Regulation is deemed to be a provisional general education teaching licence for the Kativik School Board issued under section 46 of this Regulation.
